Guidelines For Italy Skilled Sponsored (provisional) Visa
This type of visa is available for those skilled persons who are sponsored by family member, spouse or any other relative living in Italy. In order to apply for this visa, candidate first need to submit an expression of interest (EOI).
Application eligibility Criteria
For applying, applicant should be invited to apply for the immigration visa by his relatives and applicant should be younger than the age set by the immigration policy of Italy and medically fit as well.
There should be appropriate matching between qualification and skills of the applicants. Skills are also assessed by the relevant assessing authority.
Visa Sponsorship by Italy Family Member
The sponsorship of a family member is compulsory for applying for visa. Temporary visa will be valid only for 4 years and then applicant must have to apply for permanent residency in order to stay more in that country.
Skilled Sponsored Visa Process
It is three steps application process which is as follows:
1. First of all, skill set is being tested to check either the applicants requires skills or not to work in Italy.
2. After skills are assessed, candidate submits Expression of interest.
3. In third step, this application is submitted for approval to department of immigration and border protection (DIBP).
Eligible Sponsors
Sponsors must attain the age of 18 years and should be an Italian permanent resident. For sponsorship, applicants must be the father, child, brother/sister, niece/nephew or cousin or grandparents or may be the spouse of the applicants as well.
Entitlement
The sponsored visa can provide following rights to the visa owner:
- Permanently applicant can live and work in Italy
- Applicant can move to another country as long as the visa is valid.
- Visa owner can also sponsor other family members.
- Applicant can also apply for permanent resident after meeting certain conditions.
