SHORT TERM STAY

The following procedure is to be followed is any individual worker enters the country for any business activity for a very short span of time (less than three months).

1. BUSINESS VISA REQUEST

This visa is released by the Diplomatic Italian Authority in the citizen’s country of residence. The Visa is released in approximately 15 days from the application date.

2. BUSINESS PERMIT OF STAY REQUEST

All foreign citizens are required to apply for the Permit of Stay within eight days of entry into Italy which allows them to reside in Italy. The length and the reason justifying the Permit of Stay are conform to those on the Visa.

3. CHARACTERISTICS

For economic and commercial purposes, this kind of permit of stay allows the foreigner to travel around the Schengen territory. According to this kind of procedure, the foreigner will be able to arrange agreements, to verify the good functioning of products sold or purchased on the basis of industrial cooperation.
